Cement Vertical Mill Control System

The Cement Vertical Mill is controlled by a Siemens SIMATIC S7-400 PLC integrated with a Siemens WinCC SCADA system, providing centralized monitoring, control, and data visualization for all mill operations. The automation system ensures reliable, safe, and efficient operation while optimizing grinding performance, equipment protection, and energy consumption.

The control architecture incorporates Siemens SINAMICS G120 and SINAMICS G150 Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) for process equipment requiring variable speed control. Communication between the PLC and field devices is established through a PROFIBUS DP network, enabling high-speed, deterministic data exchange for control commands, status monitoring, diagnostics, and process feedback.
